Focusplus Developments Ltd. was started by director M Milner in August 1995 and it's first contract was at Sandwell MBC mostly doing consultancy on ICL VME mainframes, eventually ended in early 2000.
In early 2000 the company moved into Web services and programming and between December 2000 and July 2003, the director worked full-time at Actis Limited, a derbyshire company who specialised in developing educational resources for the national curriculum.
Since July 2003 it has done consultancy and development work for a number of clients across the country and beyond. Development has been done in HTML, XHTML, CSS, Perl, PHP4/5, ASP, XML, WAP and Flash MX 2004 Professional / Flash 8. PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server and Access databases have all been used on various projects.
It now specialises in implementing the Joomla content management system for clients and developing custom modules and components.
